At the
age of thirteen Megumi Yokata was abducted from her Japanese
family by North Korean secret agents. She was taken to the
other side of the Japan sea to the world most secret state.
When her parents, after 24 years of searching, were told that she
was dead, they would not accept it. No proof, no documentation to
the fact. For them Megumi is still alive. In their imagination however
she is still the 13 year-old girl. A day-to-day life of memories
with no closure. Megumi is only a day's travel away, but for Megumi's
parents a day is a lifetime.
